Travel arounfd Brasil !

Me, TorHarald, and Boerge, friends from Norway, are traveling around Brasil , after New years eve in Paulista avennue!
After that, we traveled to Petropolis, where we taken a Mountain trip to Teresopolis. I have to confess that it was wicked! never could imagine that there was so nice mountains in Brazil

Now we are in Rio de Janeiro , it rains but yesterday we had a good time in the corcovao mountain, with the christ statue




We are on our way to a nice island called Ilha Grande..

It was sad to leave Jenny and Marit , after a very nice week togueter.
It was very nice to receive visit from three cousy Norwegian girls in Sao Paulo, on Saturday, 8th Desember. They came to my grandpas house in Sao , where we had luch togueter. the girls said that they look like norwegians "bestforeldrene- grandparents", something that probably is related with the generation :)We also went to Paulist avenue, a kind 5th avenue n Sao Paulo. after , a short trip to my uncle Edu house, and we finished travelling to Mogi das Cruzes, were they stayed.

Vacation in João Pessoa

By now I am in Joao Pessoa, at the coast, enjoying sommer! Nice to see some old friends, as Bruno, Karina and Silvinho, and get to know the Norwegian hald students Synoeve and Kjetil. Anja, whom has been at hald 2yerasago is on her away too!!!!



I feel happy to be here, and it very impressive to see how big and nice it is this country

challenging semester

so it is! just the way it should be......

I survived to my first semester after norway ( AN). My target was to get in the university again, and finish the bachellor!besides the fact that I still have some credits to do, today i have my last semester exams, and hoppefully i will succed on them!I have to confess it was not easy, a had to get into a new old place, and God was my strenght , and my shelter!
I am looking foward to vacations, and i will travel a lot, just for not changing habits... next semester some feel credits and them i am finished with my bachelor degree.....

Sao Jose and Sao Paulo

I been in Sao Jose Rio Preto in the last weekend. there was a ABU camp, and it was very cool. I met also a couple that have been to Norway at Hald, the same school as me. and I met a missionary couple , they are cousy norwegians, and they are living there. The next weekend i am going to Sao Paulo,and it will be nice!!!

SOUTH IS THE PLACE

Last week i did not had classes so i decided to travel southover

I arrived at Florianopolis on last monday, where I stayed a fell hours..I just taked a buss to to blumenal, where i met Haniel and Mireile, old ABU friends..

The time there was very nice, and i really liked the felowship, and the times we had togheter, with two bible groups and some times going out in the city.


On thusday i traveled to Curitiba, where I had the opportunity to visit Conrado( he was at Hald 1th year), Mateus ( studant this year) and I had the opportunity to met Mona, from Karmooy, norway..


it was very fun , specialy the trip to Serra da Graciosa!

In the end, I traveled at saturday to Florianopolis, where me , Mateus and Father enjoyed churrasco ( real barbecue) and the beach...

I feel brazilian..
a little bit ..
it is better then before, but not good iet.
-thanks God for all your help in this painfull process.-
after 24 days here, i feel brazilian. not just a brazilian, something strange, but at least i feel something:
after 3 weeks of lack of feelings, lack of motiviation.
i am not saying: i am fine in Brazil:I am just going... i will be fine in heaven, togueter with Jesus, but that will have to wait!i think
somedays it is hard to sleep. some days I just wanna sleep: you see , I am getting brazilian...

It is very impressive to see that, beside all my weacknesses, God is in control over human history, including mine.Im coming back to be a brazilian, with norwegians aspects.I am trying to keep what is good from that culture, but s very hard to think about it right now. I have to say THANK U VERY MUCH ALL U FRIENDS THAT in one way or another helped me, in prayers in smiles, beeing with me!

I always have to come back to the basics of faith: from this life we are not going to bring much!

To the next, only Faith, hope and love will serve.Let us focus on that for our lifes
